A learning process

 

          There are 624 students from the first to the seventh grade at "St. Kliment Ohridski" Basic School:

              373 of pupils are in the elementary stage of the basic education from the 1st  to the 4th grade.

              251 students in the primary stage of the basic education from the 5th to the 7th grade.

             And one student is in the self form of studying.

            The educational process takes place through the general education which is compulsory, compulsory elective and optional. It is implemented by subjects grouped into cultural - educational areas and in other areas and activities.

            Compulsory elective training provides for the acquiring of knowledge and skills at a higher level relying on the subjects of cultural - educational areas according to individual abilities and students ’interests. The school curriculum includes the following subjects:

1st - 4th  grade - Bulgarian Language and Literature, Maths, Choreography, Art.

5th grade - Bulgarian Language and Literature, English Language, Maths, Information Technology, Choreography, Art;

6th grade - Bulgarian Language and Literature, Maths, History and Civilization, Choreography, Art;

 7th grade - Bulgarian language and literature, Information Technology, History and Civilization, Choreography, Art;

             An optional studying provides training both on the subjects of cultural - educational areas and in other areas and activities. The subjects are offered to the students to be chosen by them and the lessons are held outside the statutory classes:

              1st – 7th grade - Bulgarian language and Literature, Maths, Information Technology, Man and Nature, Planer, Choir, Bulgarian Folk Dances.

              Since 2010 a full-day learning process has been introduced in "St. Kl. Ohridski" Basic School.  220 students from the first, second and the third grades attend nine semi-boarding groups (SBGs.)
